3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale gold (and perhaps very slightly hazy) beer. Faint grapefruit aroma. The taste is similar with a grapefruit and hop hit and then a dry, sour and hoppy finish. Very drinkable.
Cask at the bow bar. Pours clear amber, nose is funky vinegar, toffee, taste is sweet toffee, light fruit. allmyvinyl (11026) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 2, 2014

500ml bottle pours an opalescent gold ale with a large frothy head. Aroma hops, fruit & a little maltyness. Taste a nice citrus and fruity taste with a hoppy bitter finish. Rather nice I thought. zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle from Great Grog, Edinburgh. Hazy yellow-golden coloured with malt, earthy, nutty and floral hop flavours with a bitter-sweet slight woody finish. FatPhil (17080) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 25, 2013

Slightly plasticky grainy aroma. Pale light gold, tight spongy head. Some pleasant bitter hops, but a bit thin in the body. Quite ale-like in places, I guess they just used lager malts and a slightly lower-than-normal temperature, but this isn’t really a Pils.

Nice bready aroma. Very perfumed soap. Mouth a bit smacky dry. Too dry. Nah, why did I have this again?
Cask at the Angleterre, Helsinki, Finland.
Cloudy golden colour with a small white head.
Mild yoghurt sourness, fruits and grainy maltiness in the aroma.
The flavour is fruity sweetness, perfume, some malt and mild bitterness. I don't like this that much.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. Quite a light body, sharpish, slight flowery, metallic notes in the body. Some light lemon notes from the hop, Saaz perhaps? That type of flavour anyway. Reasonable. JohnRMurdoch (5056) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JAN 3, 2013
Cask @ The Bon Accord. Golden yellow colour, good head. Mild corn malt aroma & flavour creamy, slightly sour aftertaste. Golden ale / pilsener hybrid.
