BlackHaddock (6795) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2017
330 ml bottle, almost two months out of date. Drank at home and poured into a La Chouffe tulip. Pale golden body, bright, clean and clear: the head a fast fading white affair. Malty led Lager with not much going on, nothing bad, nothing good, would be refreshing on a hot sunny day (we don’t get them here in Shropshire, so I am only guessing).

Bottle, Wine Tavern, Leicester. Pale golden with a white head. Sweet grain and corn with sudsy lemon. Caramel and butter with residual sugar. Peppery notes on the finish. OK.

asedzie (808) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 15, 2016
Bottle from Carrefour in Beitou. Pours clear golden. Nose has some freshly baked bread, mildly fruity, some metal notes in there somewhere oddly. Flavor is really good, a little on the sweet side, but still nicely balanced, fruity notes throughout reflect a pretty good blending of hop and malt flavors. Overall not really german-like by any standard, just an OK all-malt asian lager on par with some of Japan’s all-malt macros. Finish is the dead giveaway, as it finishes with a bit of malty sweetness rather than a clean hoppiness.

luttonm (5439) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 5, 2016
480ml bottle in Seattle, thanks to my brother who toted it back from China. Insane skunk, right off of the opening. Creamy soapy white foam, quite pale yellow. Skunks cardboard, stale, dry. Lighter fruit. Cloying, foamy body. Not so pleasant.

Not a great beer but not a terrible one. Just a typical boring macro lager with not much going on.
