The best dark chinese beer yet. Slight roasted malt aroma, black color and a tan head. nice malt flavor and a coffee/chocalate malt flavor. Probably the best beer in china. Crit (3995) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 23, 2002

Bottle. What a treat. Very dark and almost black appearance. The aroma was malty with roasted coffee and molasses. The flavor is rich and echoes the aroma. I found this in Hong Kong on the morning before my flight home. I couldn’t pass it up. MrRomero (1976) - Nolanville, USA - AUG 29, 2002
I was shocked. A dark Tsingtao. Nice creamy tan head. Black as tar. Lots of malt and almost an Imperial Stout taste to it. A very good brew but does it work with Chinese food? Who cares? Drink it by itself.
