Pours a pale yellow. Taste and smell are both of very light malts and grass. ALLOVATE (3002) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 6, 2012
Getting late into the night before it started to cool down in Shanghai, so dinner was on the cards. Found a very popular restaurant off the beaten track that specialised in Sichuan cooking and this seemed to be the beer they found most suited to accompany the food. So bottle after bottle made its way to empty on our table after a few delicious and spicy courses. Yellow gold in body, sparkling with light effervescence and a mostly lasting, whispy crown of white. Grainy, grassy nose with a hint of camphor, pear drops and chamomile. Subtly sweet and tangy start, candyish with a very dry hop accented back end and crisp finish; the body is lean and the carbonation lively. Light husky and powdery Pils malt that shies from being sulphorous. Grassy herbal hops are reasonably fresh. I guess I must have a good batch as his weren’t too bad at all. Can. Thanks to KyotoLefty. Butterscotch, slight vegetal aroma w/ a bit of fruitiness. Extremely light straw color and very little head. Thin grassy taste with a bit of wet cardboard and a sweetish aftertaste. So thin, really, and all flavors vaporize immediately. Innocuous. Drinkable, but barely. 500 ml can. Says "Pure Draft" in Chinese, 10 plato. Alcohol listed as 3.6. Pale yellow with little head. Nose of diacetyl and peaches. Butterscotch. Flavor of peach and butterscotch, very light, thin, nothing at all nice, though I could finish it if I had to.
Cardboard too. A bit of pepper in the finish. Not really offensive, but not really anything. Camons (12296) - Hasselager, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2012

Tsingtao Draft 10° 4.0%-640ml bottle- the other TsingTao Draft was was widely available throughout Hong Kong, so I will figure it is the Draft that’s been rated by others already. I also had this Draft 10° in Xian, so I will list this one as the new beer. pours a white head that quickly goes to none. Color is bright, light yellow. Aroma is pleasant grain. I’m hopeful this will be a stand out from most others. Taste however is the standard, grain with good carbonation. Produced 7/23.
