Bottle. Pours pale yellow with a small fizzy white head that disappears quickly with little lacing. Aroma is hay, corn syrup, cardboard, metal. Flavor is much the same, lightly sweet, light bitterness, metallic finish. Light body. jredmond (8770) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 9, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 4, 2010 12 oz bottle split with pwn3d. I thought this was better than the original despite the rating, and lower alcohol. The body is very clear yellow. The aroma is really nothing at all. The taste is pretty smooth, nothing really offensive. SudsMcDuff (8523) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 3, 2007
Pours a golden yellow ... very fizzy head, almost completely disappears ... smells pretty bad, skunky sweat socks comes to mind .... it is drinkable but i could of gone my whole life without this low end swill, AND it is waaay to expensive! go to hell carlos ruiz! radagast83 (8515) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 18, 2007
Bottle. A skunky aroma when opened. The taste is a bit skunky, but typical of a pale lager. I much prefer the original Tsingtao over this beer. Marduk (8493) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 26, 2013
500ml can. Pale yellow color. No head. Absolutely bland, watery stuff. Thanks to my friend who bothered to bring me this from China. Never again.

Jacksonville, Fl. - Total Wine - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling light golden with almost no head. Grainy aroma with hints of honey. Flavor has a sweet bent to it with some honey, some kids cereal - not altogether unappealing. Finishes with a bit of a grassy back end. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Overall, though, thirst quenching and hit the spot after a long drive on a hot day. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 10, 2008
Marginal in every way. Grassy hops with a bit of citrus. Pours with a fizzy white heead over a yellow body. Decent retention. Tastes like rice, but decently drinkable. Watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Not horrible. Ernest (7861) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 2, 2007
Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malt (toasted grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. As pale lagers go, drinkable. wlajwl (7121) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 28, 2013
Aroma is mildly skunkiness and grains. The flavor is grains, mild sweetness and a slightly tart finish. luttonm (6841) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 7, 2010
Liter bottle from asian market in Seattle. Palest pour on a beer I’ve ever seen, minimal white head, looks like pale ginger ale. Nose is whiff of vinegar and grain/corn. Taste has some honey-like sweetness but otherwise fizzy corny malting. Sweetness is nice, works to cut spicy asian food, but pretty terrible otherwise. Serves its purpose.
