Can in Seattle. Thanks to my brother for grabbing this. Ugly, piss like yellow. Tiniest head, dissipated. Honey pale grain. Cardboard, sweet corn, dry finish. Watery and weak. Banal. Not the worst.

OK, I recently visited China and got to try a bunch of their beers, which I will rate. So that I won’t have to repeat myself with each review, let me say that the Chinese prefer lite, weak beers, served cold. This does make some sense because they usually drink along with meals, and their beers do go well with Chinese food. But on their own, the way craft beer aficionados prefer to drink them, they are pretty worthless. Tsingtao is a good place to begin, because it is China’s best known beer, and it is a pretty typical example. Actually it is one of the worse brews. Bland, lite, no aroma, just a hint of flavor, hardly any hops, etc.

500 ml can. ≥3.1%. Canned on 20140718. From China. Thanks a lot Jere!
Clear pale yellow colour with a tiny white head. Apple juice and some mild chemical notes in the weak aroma. The flavour is... non existing... maybe mild malt and mild chemical notes. Blah... Bad.
