COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character. Tsingtao is produced with spring water from Laoshan, a mountain area famous throughout China for the purity of its water. The domestically-grown hops used to brew Tsingtao are of such high quality that they are also exported to European breweries. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

NOTE: Under this entry, rate ONLY exported Tsingtao that roughly matches the ABV and local Tsingtao that matches it completely. If it differs in any way and doesn’t match the other entries under the brewer, please send in a bug report with the alcohol percentage, degrees plato (important!), the GTIN and preferably a link to a picture of both the front and the back label so that we can set up an entry.

Pale yellow with stale cardboard aroma and taste. Compares with all the other mass produced lager of today.

I drank from a bottle which is actually what caught my attention in the first place. The hanzi on the glass is a nice touch. Not much for aroma. Its just a hint of, what seems like rice or hay. It is very pale, very clear. Not much to look at. Its very smooth and chilled is actually quite refreshing in Hawaii weather. That being said its not to much on taste intensity. If I were to imagine water being a beer it would be Tsingtao. Not a bad thing by the way. No burn and not too much after taste. Letting it sit and warm up did not take away from the experience other than temperature. Overall, its very average but sometimes average is good. I enjoyed it. Its something casual to drink on a hot day, or while eating hot and spicy food which is what I'm testing right now and liking it. Really good with fish by the way. German made Chinese beer.

Pale yellow colour. Foam quickly disappears. Very watery. It's easy drinkable when cooled and when it is very hot outside.

Az köpüklü. Sulu tat. Kokusu keskin değil. Asitliği dile geliyor. Kolay içilebilecek yaz birası.

Pale golden, medium head. Faint malty, grainy aroma and taste. Nithing wrong here. Just clean easy drinking lager.

Definitely has a good refreshing taste to it, this is by far not the best beer out there but still a very nice choice on a hot summer day. Way to go China(it’s actually German)

Ciało wodniste i w dodatku mocno wysycone. Piwo ubogie i niesmaczne. 1/2/2/1/2

Daboch (164) - Gdansk, POLAND - OCT 29, 2017
Typowy jasny lager. Złotego koloru piwo z niezbyt dużą białą pianą. Aromat i smak lekko słodowy, ogólnie prawie bez aromatu i bez smaku. Do gaszenia pragnienia

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2017 330ml can: Pours a light golden with fizzy white head, no retention. Crisp, clean with aroma of corn and cereal. Slightly bitter with carbonic bite. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Overall a nice American style lager with good balance. Enjoyed.

smaynard6000 (1241) - Apopka, Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2017
Bottle. Pours a transparent straw color with almost no head and soft carbonation. Aroma is pure skunkiness. Mostly sweet flavor. Watery and thin. Avoid.
