Bottle 500ml New World NZ 11 bucks down to 9!! Huge tropical banana nose bit of caramel and butter, spose thats toffee! First taste is huge really punchy and bitter . Palate gets used to it about half way thru. Big tangy robust flavours of burnt apple and grapefruit, lots going on , felt the abv before i tasted it kinda thing! palate lacks overall weight as i just think theres way too much going on for this to ever be balanced, finish is really quite bitter but its a beast of a beer and one i need to try again. It has the punch to win but not quite the flair of Epic Hop Zombie or Liberty Citra.

Bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of peach, pineapple, mango. Flavours of bitter spice, citrus. Uber sharp bitter bite. Good stuff. colui72 (1157) - HONG KONG - AUG 23, 2015
Here we go with a Kiwi wonder! Slightly hazy golden, cream medium head. Nose is sweet malts and hops. This beer has lots of hops. Loads. And they merge wonderfully with a malty and (tropical) fruity taste. Make you ask for more. Glad it came in a 500ml bottle! ngunity (179) - - AUG 22, 2015
500ml Bottle. Poured hazy amber with nice head. Drank with a big smack of bitter hops but badly lacked balance, and lingering bitterness. 167 IBU wrecks your palate here, but not in a good, shock and awe way, like Green Flash. Would not try another BarossaLuke (552) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 19, 2015
Big hoppy aroma, very complex. Lots of mouth filling malt and a firm bitterness.

Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is finely minerally crisp. The smooth pale malts impart a little sweetness. Rich skunky hops and thick pine. Mild hop spice. Trace of tropical friuts. Spicy skunky finish. A very rich DIPA but it’s also incredibly drinkable. Excellent stuff.
Keg at Brewdog. Hazy dark orange, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is hard to place but there’s some bubblegum, Turkish delight, cucumber, flowers and toffee. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light caramel, twiggy, sugary with some honey, light citrus twang. Nice. kingvit (409) - - JUL 9, 2015
Aroma: citrus, apricot, resin, spice, lemongrass, herb, hay; Appearance: pale orange, vanishing frothy head; Taste: intense bitterness, medium sweetness, medium sourness; Palate: full body, bitter finish, average carbonation, slick texture
Intense, crisp, aromatic, malty dipa. Slightly alcoholic Scopey (16264) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2015
Keg at BD CJ. It pours clear dark orange-amber with a small beige head. The rich, oily, stewed orange, peach, marmalade, toffee and apricot tart. The taste is rich, bitter-sweet, piney, resinous, alcohol boost, wood, peppery spice, grapefruit rind, mild astringency, hop burn, dank skunky hoppage, damp leaves, grassy, toffee, soap with a long, lingering bitter finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Big old hop-bomb. Although I enjoy many aspects of this beer it is pretty rough around the edges. Quite a lot of alcohol & IBU boost though. Alright, but not quite what I had hoped for. R4N5H (1373) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2015
50cl bottle at The Globe, Hong Kong on 07/06/2015. Poured into a snifter glass. Clear orange copper colour with a thick white head. Fantastic aroma of hops , pine and citrus. Heavy on citrus, hops and high on IBU. Great balance; the alcohol is well hidden but still noticeable. An awesome NZ ale.
