Super excited to get my hands on this! The smells hits as soon as I crack the cap, big complex citrus, as youd expect, but more complex than the vast majority of offerings in this style. Pours a clear light amber with perfect carbonation and adequate head. On to the taste, BOOM! Big bitter hop punch balanced by perfect malt back bone. This is a very impressive beer. The best IIPA Ive had in a long time, blows a lot of the big west coast favourites out the water, Wow! I want more! hope I can get my hands on some...

Pours an almost clear golden color with medium white head.Aroma has grapefruit, pine and orange peel, with grassy hops and herbal notes and a moderate malty and bready backbone. Taste follows the nose, grapefruit, citrus, floral, grass and herbs. Strong bitter aftertaste.

Bottle from The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pine, some peach, slight biscuity malts and subtle floral, grassy hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, resin, some peach, a hint of orchard fruits, subtle biscuity malts and slight earthy, floral hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A long, dry and bitter, citrus and earthy hop bitterness in the finish. Citrusy and resinous with big, bitter earthy and floral hops but I find the finish too bitter with a hint of oxidation. Doesnt taste 9% though. Expected better.

500 ml bottle. BB 30/08/17. Thanks Kiwi-Timo!
Clear golden color with a tiny grayish white head. Sweet fruitiness, hops, alcohol and some hop oily notes in the aroma. The flavor is strong bitterness, hops, dryness and some age.

On tap. Amber color, clear liquid, white head. Aroma of bread is dominant. Taste is medium bitter, light medium sweet. Alcohol is completely hidden. Dangerous stuff.

Pungent thick and chrystalline, this super potent slightly sappy super bitter Imperial IPA is everything I could ever want in a beer of this style. Amazing.

500ml bottle. Pours cloudy orange, with plenty of head. Aroma is sickly sweet pineapple and peach under a lot of resinous hops. Flavour is absolutely gigantic, with some biscuit for a millisecond or so before theres an almighty explosion of hops. Pine and resin are big but no match for all the fruitiness. Pineapple, peach, lemon, even some apple. The bitterness is extreme, with the tongue left tingling, but all the fruitiness makes it surprisingly refreshing. Gorgeous.
