2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy dull yellow. Smells footy...too much yeast. The body is fairly full, but still on the yeasty side of things. Touch style to nail.
From a beer hawk mystery case. Pours golden with no head. I thought I was drinking cider ! Ok for a change.

Bottle from cash and carry. Hazy deep yellow, white head. Bread and banana, pleasant but not German like the_beergery (116) - - AUG 8, 2017
Poured from its 330 ml bottle, it appears a hazy golden yellow hue with some decent white froth which receded rather rapidly. The aromas released are typical of a hefeweizen or wheat beer - some cloves, plenty of malt, and some vanilla. Despite what others have experienced, I did not detect any banana or spices in there. Taste is solid malty, very much in line with its style. Overall, a solid decent hefeweizen. jgb9348 (6478) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 26, 2017
Super hazy golden coloured body with a peach glow and a thick, four to five centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of rich super banana-y scents along with some light spices and a good deal of wheat and yeast - very pungent and very bright. Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie flavours with bubblegum, cloves, coriander seed, yeast, bananas and a little bit of allspice noticeable along with a big dose of curacao sweetness, all ending with more yeast - very nice throughout with a smooth, yet rich flavour that shows quite well, especially in the head. Aftertaste shows some nice flavours with bananas, yeast and wheat by far the strongest. Overall, a nice german hef with some good flavours throughout - add in to the fact that this beer is nice to have here in the East and also I didn’t have to carry this heavy bottle across any oceans! I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from Jason’s Market Place at Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan for NT$135 on 24-July-2017, sampled in my hotel room here in central Taipei, Taiwan on 26-July-2017. ogivlado (8108) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 8, 2017
Bottled 500ml. -Unclear golden coloured, small white head, mild wheaty and banana in the nose. Light malty, wheaty, light caramel, touch of spices and banana with some cloves in rather sweet finish. Not bad but pretty ordinary.

It gets points for label accuracy: Cloves, banana & vanilla, exactly as described. It loses points for tasting a bit weird. Not my style of beer and a bit sweet bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2017
(500ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of banana, orange, clove, banana, and vanilla. Flavor of lemon, banana, clove, orange, bread, and caramel with a moderately dry finish. Skarecrow (936) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 22, 2016
Pale hazy straw with good head.
Typical phenolic wheat beer aroma - cloves, banana.
Sweet wheat phenolic taste.
Unassuming but good. explosivedog (1614) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 10, 2016
330ml bottle. Pours cloudy with a small white head. Aroma is a little fruit, maybe some peach and banana notes, but it’s overpowered by funky sweaty bread. Flavour is much better, with a nice peach, wheat and hay start leading into a sweet banana finish. I could quite comfortably sit back and drink a 6 pack on a hot afternoon, but it’s not the most exciting of beers. TedE (1481) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 19, 2016
UPDATED: APR 21, 2017 330ml bottle into glass. Rich smell of banana and cloves. Cloudy yellow beer with foamy cream on top. Creamy zingy mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity, spicy. A touch of sourness, right at the end. Super easy-drinking.
