The colour was pale orange amber brown, with a light head, and light carbonation. It was quite cloudy. The aroma had wheat, yeast and banana fruit. There was orange citrus fruit, with wheat and yeast flavours, light spice, and a medium crisp bitter finish. Light bodied, crisp and strong wheat flavours.

In short: clean bland weizen.
Did I enjoy it: no.
Pours quite clean golden with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, little lacing. Some banana nose, some clove, sweet malty aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste follows the nose, quite watery. Dull.
A bottle from Jason's in the basement of 101. Aroma: grass, candy. Appearance: hazy amber, head quickly dissipates to lacing. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, soft carbonation, predominantly sweet finish. Taste: medium-sweet, some banana, bubblegum, an unfortunate sour note at the finish. Bottle at home. A spicy flavour in the mouth with a subtle bite of sourness. This woke up the palate and got me ready for the rest of the evening. A good beer to enjoy, but not in any way memorable. jrh2254 (191) - burton-on-trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2017
From a beer hawk mystery case. Pours golden with no head. I thought I was drinking cider ! Ok for a change.

Bottle from cash and carry. Hazy deep yellow, white head. Bread and banana, pleasant but not German like

Poured from its 330 ml bottle, it appears a hazy golden yellow hue with some decent white froth which receded rather rapidly. The aromas released are typical of a hefeweizen or wheat beer - some cloves, plenty of malt, and some vanilla. Despite what others have experienced, I did not detect any banana or spices in there. Taste is solid malty, very much in line with its style. Overall, a solid decent hefeweizen. jgb9348 (6590) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 26, 2017
Super hazy golden coloured body with a peach glow and a thick, four to five centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of rich super banana-y scents along with some light spices and a good deal of wheat and yeast - very pungent and very bright. Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie flavours with bubblegum, cloves, coriander seed, yeast, bananas and a little bit of allspice noticeable along with a big dose of curacao sweetness, all ending with more yeast - very nice throughout with a smooth, yet rich flavour that shows quite well, especially in the head. Aftertaste shows some nice flavours with bananas, yeast and wheat by far the strongest. Overall, a nice german hef with some good flavours throughout - add in to the fact that this beer is nice to have here in the East and also I didn’t have to carry this heavy bottle across any oceans! I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from Jason’s Market Place at Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan for NT$135 on 24-July-2017, sampled in my hotel room here in central Taipei, Taiwan on 26-July-2017. ogivlado (8331) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 8, 2017
Bottled 500ml. -Unclear golden coloured, small white head, mild wheaty and banana in the nose. Light malty, wheaty, light caramel, touch of spices and banana with some cloves in rather sweet finish. Not bad but pretty ordinary. tombutlin (370) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 28, 2017
It gets points for label accuracy: Cloves, banana & vanilla, exactly as described. It loses points for tasting a bit weird. Not my style of beer and a bit sweet bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2017
(500ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of banana, orange, clove, banana, and vanilla. Flavor of lemon, banana, clove, orange, bread, and caramel with a moderately dry finish.
