Dark brown, rich, chocolatey, rich porter. Full body with lots of chocolate character. Rich, delicious.
330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Minimally chocolately, dark malty aroma, fruity hoppy hints of dark berries, bramble, blueberry, a leafy touch. Taste is rather dry, slightly roasty, dark malty, a touch of chocolate, minimally papery, cautious fruity hints of dark berries. bramble, blueberry, very subtle residual sweetness; oily texture, smooth and soft palate. drjoeng (1230) - SINGAPORE - APR 14, 2017
Poured out dark brown. 38SRM.
Nose is yeasty, very much so. Light smoke.
Mouthfeel is light. Palate is multigrain bread, barley bread, wheat toast. Hops are woody and noble.
Finish is hoppier than a usual porter. fonefan (48622) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2017

Dark reddish brown color with a small grayish tan head.
Roasted malt, chocolate, some cherry notes (?) and some dryness in the aroma.
The flavor is news paper, roasted malt, some ashy dryness and chocolate.
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2016 330ml bottle. Pours dark. Aroma is chocolate milk. Taste is a little bitter, some chocolate and some prunes. Quite refreshing, and really quite nice. A nice simple porter.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2016 330ml bottle into glass. Earthy chocolate nose. Red/brown beer with small tan head. Light body, light fizz. Hints of chocolate and fruit. Bitter lingering dry cocoa finish. Good porter. DeanF (2453) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 27, 2016
Average head and body, brown-black in colour. Aroma of swampy barley but not too swampy, but still swampy. Flavour is roasted barley with hints of coffee, but the finish is watery. I like my porters in your face and this is demure at best. Moravius (1276) - Beijing, CHINA - OCT 3, 2015
Porter’s for me are a time and a place beer. It is not a summer beer nor a beer I can drink all night. Also If I can get Fuller’s London Porter then everything else is an also ran. This however is not bad. I had this in a tiny pub in Taipei near Le-li road down a back street. The body is quite light for a Porter. Nose is coffee, milk chocolate and maybe burnt toast. More carbonation than I expected and a little drier. But that said it had some good crisp dark flavours...such as chocolate and malt. Finish was dry and clean. Very good beer. johndoughty (5398) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2015
Bottle. Black with a lovely chocolate like flavour. Hops in background make it feel like a dark IPA rather than an IPA. Nevertheless this is an excellent beer and easily the best I have tried so far from this brewery.
