COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

I don't know about the whole 'the king of beers' thing. But all in all this is a quality lager, better than Carlsberg by far. But don't expect anything too special...

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2003 Re-rate: Corn notes, golden hue but unstable head. Watery. Unfortunately still a bit better than the usual bland danish pilsener.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2010 I remember the Danish version as an acceptable lager with some caramel sweetness. Rerate, Norwegian version brewed by Ringnes, 500 ml can: ABV is 4.6%. Golden (deep golden, maybe) colour, moderate white head. Very moderate aroma, hints of malts, boiled vegetables, caramel and dust. The flavour has some malts and a little caramel sweetness, hints of boiled vegetables and baby porridge. Not much to write home about.

Golden coloured. Sweet, hint of caramel, but still very thin and flavourless.

A good brew. Better than other danish in the same style. A bit fruity in the start, a good aftertaste. In the middle there are room for improvements.
