An orange beer with a bubbly fast disappearing head. The aroma is malty sweet with a hint of sourness. The flavor is brewmashy, with hints of straw, malt. It has a nice sweetness and a well balanced bitterness. Nice for a danish easterbrew. joergen (28720) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2005

Beer Fest 2013. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, some sweet malts as well as mild herbal and earthy notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some earth, mild bitterness as well as some slight floral and wooden notes. Still quite much on the watery side of things.
Dark amber in colour. Very sweet, corn aroma. Despite the relatively low gravity you can feel the alcohol. Some nice toffee in the finish, but almost no bitterness. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2012

Purchased from 7/11 in Copenhagen. Tin. Clear gold beer. Dry lager, very dry! Mercifully lacking the horrible artificial sweetness in the other mass produced Danish lagers tasted this evening. But that’s about it’s best feature - what it is not!
(Bottle 75 cl) Years ago this used to be a nicer, stronger and much more characterful beer. But years have passed and Carlsberg has killed most of it’s personality, dilluting it and turning down the alcohol. Nice amber colour with a decent head. lots of carbonation (could be because of a different bottling in the large, Belgian bottles). Slightly malty character and a light sweetness, but no palate. Definitely not a great beer - anymore. 051199 Rasmus40 (21461) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2011
