This beer is my favorite to drink at a hot day. It has a very light taste but it is still very good. I’d rather drink this in a sommer day than a Corona etc. they stopped making this one. And then it made a comeback last year. All the bars protested, when they wanted to remove it again. It will be out on the market again later on this year.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2008
Beautiful red/brown color and an OK head. The aroma has light notes of malt and caramel. The flavour is light with notes of malt, caramel and a light, somewhat dry bitterness. When I went to highschool MANY years ago, this was MY beer. Meeting it again 35 years later was a disappointment, but it’s OK and just as good, or better, than many of the so called "classic" beers we have here in Denmark. 2072

Moderate malty aroma. Large, frothy off-white head. Fair lacing. Mostly diminishing longevity. Clear amber body. Moderate sweet initial flavor. Medium palate.

Dark copper color with a loose big bubbled biege head. Nose of dusty grains and Cracker Jacks. Sweet caramel malts, some burnt grains in the background and dark bread. Mostly dark and sweet, just like what you would expect in a Dunkel, and not much more.

Bottkle from MiP. Brown color. Caramel and apple in the aroma. Sweet caramelly flavor with pear. Grainy. On the thin side. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel, but actually I like this beer.

Brown beer with small head. Clean aroma of sweet malt. The flavour is of lightly roasted malt with some hops and a nice, clean finish. A fine beer!
