This beer is my favorite to drink at a hot day.
It has a very light taste but it is still very good.
I’d rather drink this in a sommer day than a Corona etc.
they stopped making this one. And then it made a comeback last year.
All the bars protested, when they wanted to remove it again.
It will be out on the market again later on this year. bangsvig (6) - DK-2830 Virum, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2002 does not count
A long time friend of mine. Carsberg has decided not to make it anymore. Disgraceful. Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2002
This is the best of Tuborg. I cannot believe why all Danish folks choose Grøn instead of Rød. Hansen (8621) - Assentoft, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2002
By far much better than the ordinare Grøn Tuborg, and to a fair price. Has a fine balance in bitternes and sweetness. Not a high amount of alcohol (4,3%), but a lot of taste of a Danish beer. But one thing I don't understand is: Why stop making it, Tuborg? Shame on you!

More tasty than other danish beers. I am sorry that the beer is taking out of production. I hope it return under a new name! LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2002
Wonderful reddish/brown colour. Nice aroma with plenty of malts and a hint of toffee. So far very similar to Gl. Carlsberg Lagerøl. The flavour, however, is a bit more “powerful” and I also prefer the mouthfeel of Rød Tuborg. Moreover, the finish is more bitter (from the malt) and longer lasting. Conclusion: A very good (Munich) dunkel that is superior to Gl. Carlsberg, unless you feel more like a smooth and pleasant beer.
