(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 15.03.2018, from Alko, 20170201) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had metal, malts, caramel and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A rather nice bock. The aroma had unpleasant metal notes. ThreeCats (1001) - ISRAEL - DEC 27, 2016
Nice clear mahogany with a big tan head. Aroma of chocolate and wood, caramel and notes of vanilla or possibly banana. Taste full and sweet. Plenty of caramel and some chocolate notes, a little too full bodied to be truly drinkable, but an enjoyable sipper. WhatDaddy (96) - Volos, GREECE - NOV 8, 2016

Hints of caramel, roasty aroma. Body is medium with low carbonation, it lacks in intensity, flavor, balance. Alcohol hidden. You get some malty roasty sweetness but the palate is not there. I’ll re-rate this if this bottle was just not perfect. Grumpelmies (330) - GERMANY - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle. Mahogany with a beige head. Aroma of malts, dark fruits, candy and caramell. Taste is mostly malts, nuts, honey, dark fruits and caramell again. Hops and Bitterness make their appearance in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. Balanced and overall well made Doppelbock but for my taste there are better and more complex types out there. liquidbread86 (171) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 19, 2016
From bottle. At opening, there’s a nice aroma of dates that hints at the flavor. Taste if of dares with chocolate malt. Exceptionally smooth.

Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has lots of dried fruits, mostly figs, dates and raisins, toasted malts and some brown sugar. Taste starts with the dark malts shining the most, continues with some of the dried fruits and finishes with some alcohol warmth and a touch of roasty bitterness to balance out the sweet malts. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. This is a really good doppelbock. I’m not really a huge fan of the style but I can appreciate such a well made beer. rayaron (1928) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - SEP 8, 2016
Bottle 0.5l. Deep amber with beige head. Aroma of prune, dried fruits, raisin and carob. Sweet flavor with notes of prune and carob, quite salty, bitterish, some smokiness, chocolate and some roastiness. Smooth texture, medium-bodied. zvsn (2238) - ISRAEL - AUG 11, 2016
Bottle. Clear amber brown with a nice stable head. Aroma and taste of caramel, prunes, raisins, toasted bread, honey, milk chocolate and alcoholic warmth. Rather full bodied. Decent. daigoon (199) - - JUL 23, 2016
