500cl bottle. redish brown. very nice offwhite head. average carbonation. aroma of yeast and brown malt. flavour of yeast, caramel and malt. non-unique hopping. some fermentation off-flavours. not well balanced. acctually, reminds me a lot of my 3rd batch of homebrew.

684/5000 Bajuvator does not disappoint at all and only confirms that the type belongs to my favorites. It has a nice aroma of caramel, nuts, dark chocolate and burnt malt. Warm and rich taste, a little smoke. Dark rye bread, sugar and dried fruits. In the aftertaste, I find a little yeast, but otherwise a nice, hopped balance, which is mostly characterized by malt.

Bottle. Color: Clear ruby to copper, frothy beige head. Taste: Roasted malt, red fruit, notes of raisins, caramel and brown sugar. Medium sweet, very little bitterness. Smooth, bit creamy mouthfeel. Medium body, average carbonation. Pretty nice doppelbock.

On tap at HaShoftim pub, Tel Aviv. Dark brown. Dry aroma, a lityle roasty with dark fruit notes. Sweet, roasty, some sweet cocoa, carob, some prune. Full body, lively carbonation and soft chocolate syrup finish.

SaintMatty (7612) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2017
500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Raisins, plums and some spicy and vinous notes in the aroma. Malty, fruity and moderately sweet taste with raisins, berries, prunes and a bittersweet finish.

From old tasting notes. Clear Garnet color with a creamy tan head. sweet molasses roasted malt nose. Intense roasted malt palate is bittersweet and complex. Semi dry medicinal overtones dominate the finish. Bittersweet aftertaste is long and flavorful. As German Doppelbocks go, this is somewhat mild, yet full bodied and flavorful.

The best Dopplebock I have ever had. Period. Dark dried fruits, malt and just a wisp of bitterness to balance the finish. Outstanding.

nybol (2442) - DENMARK - JUL 14, 2017

lidor1995 (153) - ISRAEL - JUL 6, 2017
Pours from the bottle clear transparent brown with no head, aroma of resins and dark fruit, heavy body with a sweet boozey taste
