500cl bottle. redish brown. very nice offwhite head. average carbonation. aroma of yeast and brown malt. flavour of yeast, caramel and malt. non-unique hopping. some fermentation off-flavours. not well balanced. acctually, reminds me a lot of my 3rd batch of homebrew.

The best Dopplebock I have ever had. Period. Dark dried fruits, malt and just a wisp of bitterness to balance the finish. Outstanding.

nybol (2200) - DENMARK - JUL 14, 2017
Den er meget sødlig som en bock, og fin karamelsmag. frisk og smager ikke af styrken.

lidor1995 (108) - ISRAEL - JUL 6, 2017
Pours from the bottle clear transparent brown with no head, aroma of resins and dark fruit, heavy body with a sweet boozey taste

mike_77 (6668) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUL 2, 2017
Dark brown and clear with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet dark malts. Hints of caramel and sweetened milky coffee.

BeerBaboon (2093) - FINLAND - MAY 20, 2017
Pours brown with tan head. Aroma is roasted, dark bread and caramel. Flavour is roasted, dark bread, light to medium sweet and light bitter. Not the best of doppelbocks. It’s a good beer but pales in comparison to the likes of Ayinger Celebrator and Weltenburger Asam Bock.

Nagy, nem túl tartós hab, sötétbarna szín. Karamelles, malátás, aszalt gyümölcsös illat. Karamelles, pörkölt malátás, aszalt gyümölcsös ízvilág, némi gyógyfüves felhanggal. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű.Tisztességesen összerakott, finom barna.

thellgren (1062) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 2, 2017
0.5 l bottle from Alko Hakaniemi, Helsinki. Appearance is brown and clear. Aroma has burnt dark chocolate. Taste has malts and dark chocolate - very dark and dry chocolate (over 90% cocoa), A bit too dry for my taste or maybe I just served it to myself too cold. Well, anyway not even close to Salvator or Celebrator as an Easter lent beer.

minihame2 (641) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAR 31, 2017
Clear, deep mahogany colour with a foamy, tan head. Malty aroma, dark rye bread. Taste has light sweetness and plenty of malty character. Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation, somewhat oily feel. It’s decent.

Kauge (1958) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 18, 2017
Bottle.BB 15.03.2018. Pours coppery dark amber with steady creamy beige head. Aroma of slightly metallic sweet nutty malts, dark fruits, toffee and chocolaty hints. Tastes sweet, pleasantly malty, slightly grainy, dryish. Carbonation very modest. Faint earthy notes. Overall pretty nice.
