COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heartful, strong Weizenbierschmankerl with typical yeast turbidity. Its unmistakable colour receives it by the addition from aromatic dark dunkelmalz.

Bottled. Dark brownish amber colour with big white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and slightly dark fruity. Flavour is wheat, caramel and citrus fruit. Pleasant mix, but very watery palate.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, almost muddy beer with huge, yeast impurities. Light brown, decent head. High in CO2 - all very characteristic for a German Weizen. I just miss some body and some flavours. Where’s the fruity esters for instance? This appears very light and a little disappointing. 090702

Test vom 27.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,10,8,10,7 - 8,10

Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008
Cloudy dark brown with a thick, rocky head. Somewhat dusty, slightly footy yeast nose with lemony accents and a hint of chocolate. Crisp, with an apple/pear fruitiness. Lightly spicy, with a quenching wheat finish. Good balance. It may not be the greatest but it’s hitting the spot.

500ml can (Kaufland, Olpe)
Pleasant bananaey aroma. Nice hazy orangy brown. Smoothish palate, pleasant carbonation, but a little flat after a while. Toffee caramel taste, cleanish for a dunkelweisse. Pleasant and drinkable. Cleanish for a dunkelweisse, which is a good thing, as sometimes the yeasty earthiness is too dirty. This is clean and very drinkable.
