Best beer on Earth. There’s nothing in the world to substitute for a cold bottle and Ophthalamia’s Dominion (or your favorite klassisch metal album) for the ultimate just-off-the-clock experience of the working man. Tod (8) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 17, 2009 does not count
Many of you probably never had a chance to try this beer. While I’ll admit that I’ve not even tried 10 beers on the top Kristallweizen beers list on this site, I can tell you that Tucher makes a better product than Erdinger, Weihenstephaner, Franziskhaner, Hacker-Pschorr, and (probably) both Hofbraeu and Edelweiss. Above all, don’t believe the reviews on Kristallweizen here until you’ve tried a fresh Tucher Kristallweizen. If you want to experience THE beer you should put to your lips after a hot afternoon (NOT the office) of labor, this is the beer offering the most refreshing taste on any continent. mikeben (355) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2003 Quite good as most German wheats are. I like the Kyrstal style Weiss as it is very refreshing and not heavy. This is certainly not the best weiss beer I have had but it is high in quality. If it was not so clear I would have given its appearance higher.Do I taste honey? Anyway the best kyrstals may be light but have a full body. This is a little thin. gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2002
Excellent wheat beer. Very drinkable, but expensive. homerman (40) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - FEB 3, 2002

Bold head, small inviting aroma. Flavor is refreshing and has a hint of honey and fruit. Finish is wonderful and leaves you wanting more. Truly a great Kristall Weizen. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 15, 2008
Looks good smells good. This is very tasty. Light, smooth, not too wheaty, it’s also got just a hint of creaminess to it. A very nice beer, good brewery. Goes excellent with pizza. kepnerb (5) - Castana, Iowa, USA - NOV 9, 2006 does not count
Very good nose. I picked up the essence of banana and spice. The taste was smooth and light. Change from a borderline sweet taste as it entered the mouth to a slight bitter at the end. Quickly disappeared from palate. This could be one of my staple beers. rebelbrewer (125) - Lithonia, Georgia, USA - MAR 14, 2006
I poured this into a Weizen glass from a 1 pint 1 fluid once bottle. It formed one of the prettiest heads I’ve ever seen on a beer. It was 2 inches high, very creamy and dense looking and it lasted forever. I finally had to have a sip through the head which was a good thing to do as it turns out. The appearance is a crystal clear light gold with streams of bubbles supporting that head. The aroma was fruity with a hint of clove. The taste matches the aroma up front. It starts to go light in the middle and finishes with a nice little hop bite at the end. It is a very refreshing and good looking brew. I’d suck down a lot of these. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - NOV 12, 2006
Perfectly Golden and Klear with a towering foamy white froth. Crisp bubbles cascading to the surface. Aroma of wheat malts, banana, and clove are very obvious! Very sweet flavor. This is a great beer for the newbie rednecks I work with. Beerlamb you should try this! Very light and refreshing.
