COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tucher Pilsener is brewed according to the old rules of the Franconian brewing with the utmost care. Apart from best ingredients like "Pilsener" barley malt, the famous Hallertau aroma hops "Tradition", and soft brewing water from our own wells is a very important factor. During fermentation and storage of sud will not move and can mature peacefully.

Sigmund (7389) - Tau, NORWAY - JUN 30, 2015
330 ml bottle, BB date Oct. 2013, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Clear pale golden colour, low white head. Fairly fresh aroma of grassy and herbal hops, some grain too. The flavour is fairly fresh too, appears to have kept well. Medium dry, decent herbal hops throughout. Not a bad pilsener this one.

0,5 bottle. Nuremberg deserved a better brewery. Ok Pilsener pale , a bit o cereals flavor and not bitter. Quite boring thought .

Bottle from Stewarts Wine Company 150515. Clear in the glass with a clean crisp white cap of foam. As far as pilseners go this isn’t too bad, certainly drinkable.

Average, but ok Pilsner. Nothing special to say about it. Drinkable if chilled...

GoufCustom (1976) - HONG KONG - MAY 2, 2015

330 ml bottle bought at Cheers in Yuen Long.

Pale golden yellow colour; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Small sticky lacing and slight carbonation; Fairly pungent smell of malt, with fairly strong grains, molasses, faint floral, bread, yeast, strong lemon and light grass; Medium sweet taste of malt, with light grains, floral, molasses, light spices, bread, yeast, strong lemon, moderate bitter hops and strong grass; Light body. Dry-thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is malty but in a thin light body, pretty dry. Quite strong floral, light breadyness and lemony hops. Sweetness is under control. Not very Pils-like but more of a Premium lager. Still, not bad… Hoppiness is floral, strong lemon and grass in nose and the same in taste plus a bit of spice; Bitterness is moderate for a Pils. Lasting moderate astringent and malty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Quite bitter and hoppy to mouth.

Comments: If this is a Premium Lager I will give it a high score, because it’s malty without being top-heavy, it’s very easy to go down and the German hops, lightweight as it may, is quite pleasant to the overall enjoyment. As a German Pils, though, this is close to Macro average: drinkable but soulless.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1B). Draft @ Heilig-Geist-Spital. AROMA: clean lager profile with a mild sweet cereal aroma. APPEARANCE: pale straw colour and translucent. thin white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: clean lager flavour with mild sweet cereal notes. low bitterness with a semi-dry finish. PALATE: thin body with low carbonation. OVERALL: an average bulk german lager.

On tap. Served alight golden color that fades to spots of lacing. Aroma of cirrus, malt sweetness, and grass. Taste of malt sweetness and grain. Moderate bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp and slightly sweet. Typical German Pils.
