Bottled. A straw blonde coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. Grassy hops, sweet malts and a little puke. Fairly nicely balanced in the mouth. The hops are OK and give a bit of prickle. Decent. BeerViking (4908) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2011
Bottle from Aldi UK, but labelled for the Australian market. Pours light gold with a fluffy head, nice aroma of grassy herby hops, flavour is light with a bit of malt, a light crisp hop character and a gentle bitterness. A decent enough helles, and a bargain at the price. SilkTork (5754) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2011
500ml bottle from Aldi. Very watery yellow. Soft carbonation. Initially quite grainy in flavour, but this mellows out as the beer settles. Few hops. Little malt flavour. Easy drinking. Just a touch of oil or butter. Not offensive. Drinkable. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2010
Bottle, Aldi, Carlisle. Very pale yellow appearance, with a bubbly, but thin, white head. Aroma is low, faintly grassy. Tastes earthy and clean, slightly herby, but nothing stands out and the finish is soapy lemon. Very middle of the road. AndrewC (376) - Canterbury, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2010
It’s pale yellow and had a rapidly disappearing head. I don’t get much aroma; maybe a hint of burnt rubber. Mouth feel is good as it’s nice and soft. Initial flavours in the mouth are pleasant; hints of lemon; maybe a hint of bubblegum; very clean. The finish is mildly bitter with a peppiness to it but it’s very short lived. It’s very quaffable and I wouldn’t know it was 5.3% but if it’s intent is to be a swift refreshing beer on a hot day I know plenty of session bitters that, in my opinion, out class it. I really want to like this, honest I do but my earlier experience of Helles still rings true; it’s the imbibing equivalent of being robbed. Clearly Helles aren’t for me. Oh well ...next style please :)

500ml bottle. Poured a clear, effervescent golden yellow with a big & fluffy, slowly depleting but mostly lasting white head leaving a solid lacing. Grain, sweet dry malt and straw aromas. Grainy, malt sweet flavour profile with a delicate grassy hop finish and lingering light fruity malt aftertaste. Light, crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, medium dry carbonation and a short finish. Good Helles, very malt heavy all over the palate. Some mellow breadiness and long dry spice finish. You could drink giant steins of this and be very content .

Bottle. Bought from Aldi in Cannock. Golden with a medium head. Hoppy aroma with a slight sweetness that lingers.Creamy head and all round quite pleasant. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2010
It’s golden with a white head and the aroma has notes of malt and light fruit. The flavour has a light to moderate sweetness with notes of malt, light fruit and straw, and the finish is slightly dry.
