Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, straw, hay, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090823]

Ungstrup (39108) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2004
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2007 [At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A clear yellow beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is malty with notes of hops. The flavor is just sweet and malty - a boring flavor.

omhper (26060) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2003
Canned. pale golden with creamy head. Papery malt aroma. Sweet and rather light bodied. Nice, crisp maltiness very soft mouthfeel. Rather low bitterness. Refreshing. Representing the style very well.

Beerhunter111 (23775) - Beerland, GERMANY - AUG 16, 2014
Goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack leicht malzig, fruchtig, etwas herb, leicht würzig.

fiulijn (21537) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 7, 2004
Blond color. Ordinary Pils, with a residual sweetness, more bitter at the end.

3.3
Oakes (19569) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 10, 2001
Med. straw colour w/ slight haze; full export aroma - load of malt. This is a good example of the style, slightly dry in the finish with a solid fresh malt and brown bread signature.

2.7
rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2003
Pale golden with an ok white head. Aroma is weak, a little malty. Not much bitterness, rather smooth, but tends to be alittle boring

2.7
TBone (18697) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 23, 2017
Bottled 500ml (Alko)
Clear golden color, small white head. Sweetish malty aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Clean sweet maltyness, grassy hoppyness. Very standard German helles. In good and in bad.

2.2
FatPhil (17513) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 13, 2012
500ml bottle (Beerbarrel, Vilnius)
Really not much aroma, just hints of simple bready grains at times. Mid orange, persistent head. Smoothish palate, pleasant carbonation. Simple bready malts, but a slightly chemical bitter hop bite. Quite full, perhaps as there are some residual sugars. A touch drying bitterness in the finish. Not unpleasant, but not interesting either.
