50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber to brown with a fully gone head. Light toasted to breadish malt aroma. Sweet caramel malty flavour with a nice breadish note. Roasted and slight fruity too. Lasting breadish impression into the finish alongside a nice level of bitterness. Nice one.

Ungstrup (37225) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2007
Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, but also light notes of metal, leading to a very dry finish.

omhper (24961) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 15, 2008
Bottled at Pizzeria in Bamberg. Clear nut brown, small head. Roasty malt aroma. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Sugary with notes of hazelnuts. Low bitterness. Rather lifeless.

TBone (17429) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 22, 2017
Bottled 500ml (Alko web)
Dark chestnut colour, good beige head and some lace. Bready, caramelly aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Rye bready, caramelly, a bit fizzy carbonation. Sweetish. Typical solid German dunkel. This one comes with some industrial vibe.

3.2
Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 6, 2009
Golden brown colour. Head is a bit fizzy. A little bit toasty on the nose. The body is a shade thin, but with good dark malt character - liquorice, toffee, dark sugars and some toastiness. Finishes sweet, lightly molassesy.

500ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Rich red, brief beige head. Sweetish caramelly malty aroma. Dryish palate. Sweeting caramel, but without the smoothness of the sugars.Pretty dull caramelly taste. Leaves me thirsty for something different. So papery. . Once it’s warmed up even a little it’s pretty nasty.

3.3
MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2007
Bottle, 5.4%. Clear brown colour, small white head. Quite malty aroma. The flavour is also malty with some earthy malt notes. Nice breadiness. Good, like watered-down Bajuvator.
