kappldav123 (6158) - GERMANY - MAY 25, 2011
Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, nice head. Starts soft-malty, notes of chocolate, more dry than sweet. Well balanced finish, notes of dried fruits. Good beer!

Bottle. Red brown colour with a big beige head. Light rye bread, light roasted, caramel malty aroma and taste, corn. Medium body with a corn finish.

Nothing stands out for me on this rather pedestrian brew. Color is clear brown (cola) with thin and short lasting head.Taste and aroma very light, with just light bitterness on the palate. Not the best...

Bamsen78 (5617) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of yeast and mild touches of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast. Notes of hops and touches of cake. Bitterish and estery aftertaste with acidic hints. Reasonable for the style.

Aroma; malt, plum, syrup, apple, dark malts and lots of sweetness. Look; pale beige head, medium brown body. Taste; malt, plum, syrup, sweet apple, dark toffee malts - sweet n fruity finish. Feel; normal body, gentle co2. Overall; nice n easy dunkel. [@Hofbräu in Bamberg city June2017 6463’12]

Draught at the Bar 55 in Rishon LeZion. Pours clear dark amber with a white head. Cherry, malt and corn syrup aroma, sweet, a little malty taste. Light body, well carbonated. Tolerable.

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 18, 2009
Bottle @ Tannenbaum, Furth. Dark coppery-brown, a warm color. Fizzy head disappears fast. The aroma is cakey with tons of caramel. Soft palate with lingering sweet finish. Sweet, caramel, bready malt, the flavors are friendly, simple, and sweet.

2.9
Kavu (5249) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 21, 2017
A small taste from a bottle @ Alko, press tasting. Pours clear chestnut with a low head. Aroma is sweet, slightly nutty malts with some molasses. Flavor is nutty, slightly stale malts with a light roast. Some hoppy notes in the finish. Clean and classy, but a bit boring, really.

Draft. Pours a clear, deep, dark red to light brown. About an inch of off white head. Aroma is like dark bread and crust. Taste is similar with a very sweet note, but kinda dries out in the finish. Not cloying but close.

2.7
SHIG (4965) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 4, 2008
Draught: Poured a orange brown with a huge head, the bartender was shitty and this beer was a mix of four glass poured because they couldn’t figure the CO2. The aroma was sweet caramel malt. The taste was kinda flat with a bitter caramel metallic. I’m sure the serving was not the best quality.
