My first beer in Germany, 2013. In Nuremberg, on draught. Brown color. Low carbonation. Sweet malt, some caramel flavor with malt. Decent.

500 ml bottle, rated from backlog. Reddish amber with off white head. Aroma and taste is nice and malty, caramel and fruit.

Bottle @ Tannenbaum, Furth. Dark coppery-brown, a warm color. Fizzy head disappears fast. The aroma is cakey with tons of caramel. Soft palate with lingering sweet finish. Sweet, caramel, bready malt, the flavors are friendly, simple, and sweet.

SHIG (4952) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 4, 2008
Draught: Poured a orange brown with a huge head, the bartender was shitty and this beer was a mix of four glass poured because they couldn’t figure the CO2. The aroma was sweet caramel malt. The taste was kinda flat with a bitter caramel metallic. I’m sure the serving was not the best quality.

Nothing stands out for me on this rather pedestrian brew. Color is clear brown (cola) with thin and short lasting head.Taste and aroma very light, with just light bitterness on the palate. Not the best...

Draft. Pours a clear, deep, dark red to light brown. About an inch of off white head. Aroma is like dark bread and crust. Taste is similar with a very sweet note, but kinda dries out in the finish. Not cloying but close.

Draught at the Bar 55 in Rishon LeZion. Pours clear dark amber with a white head. Cherry, malt and corn syrup aroma, sweet, a little malty taste. Light body, well carbonated. Tolerable.

A small taste from a bottle @ Alko, press tasting. Pours clear chestnut with a low head. Aroma is sweet, slightly nutty malts with some molasses. Flavor is nutty, slightly stale malts with a light roast. Some hoppy notes in the finish. Clean and classy, but a bit boring, really.

Geiserich (4382) - Linz, AUSTRIA - NOV 5, 2007
Bottled: Intensive malty and caramelic aroma with light sweetness. Dark chestnut brown color with off-white foamy head. Light sweet, caramel flavor with few roasted malt aromas and few hop. Metallic and dry notes in the end. Quite ok but not too special.
