On tap at the Goldenes Posthorn, Nurnberg November 2006. Brown beer with minimal head. Plenty of malt aroma. The flavour was of caramel with a bitter finish. Not bad.

0.5 l bottle. Pours a dark brown with a pale brown head beside average carbonation. Sweet, light roasty, yeasty nose and a sweetsour taste. Caramell flavour, roasty and grassy hoppy aroma. The finish is light coffeebitter and dry. Medium body. tiny sticky texture. An average dunkel.

Bottled 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest. Red brown coloured, medium sized off’-white head, sweetish malty nose. Light roasted malt, brown sugar and caramel with notes of fruits and nuts. Also some hops in the finish.

Dark brown colored, medium sized yellow head. Chocolate dominates in nose, with slight roasted note, thin grass also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is more dry with chocolate still dominating, roastiness and some dark fruits last in aftertaste.

Draft as Urfräntifches Dunkel. Average brew. Appearance copper with off white generous head, solid lacing. Aroma of caramel, bread, faint cocoa. Flavor of bread, carsmel, light toast. A bit too sweet. Body slightly sticky, moderate for style.

500ml on tap in Nuremberg. Aroma is malt, light caramel. Appearance is clear brown with a medium, light brown-ish head. Taste is sweet, very light bitter. Sweetness stays a while. OK.
