COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A German Style brown ale brewed with dark, rich Belgian specialty malts and domestic whole hops. The alt will have a dark copper color and will have a slightly fruity, bittersweet flavor. It is a beer for the more adventurous, for people with an appreciation for a beer with a rich malt character and a balanced hop finish.

12oz bottle-pours a retaining foamy tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is roasty, medium malt-somewhat sweet caramel. Taste is roasty, medium malt-somewhat sweet caramel, continental hops-with some up front bitterness, which is slightly awkward, faint nuttiness. Medium body, nice dryish finish. OK effervescence.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a fluffy off-white head. A bit of sweet nutty caramel aroma with hoppy hints. Medium-to-light body and moderate carbonation. Taste much like the aroma. Soft, lightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Had a whole six pack of this, so i really did have a enough to decide whether i liked it or not. I thought it was good. A nice malt character, which was probably a little sweeter and richer than your typical altbier, there, is perhaps a slightly higher hop profile as well, but then again, it is quite balanced. Some very soft bitterness in the finish. Pleasant, i could, and did, drink a few of these.

Not really an alt, but not bad by any stretch either. Medium brown in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and bready malt.Dry and thin finish with a moderately high level of bitterness in the start that fades to subltely sweet.

Crisp gentle hop nose with hints of pollen. Pours a clear medium brown that is bright in the glass. A woody bitterness that clears the palate swiftly. A thinner body could be worked on. My cats seem to like it.

[bottle] Nice nutty aroma, some light sweetness. Brown, slightly hazy appearance. Flavors are nutty malts, barely sweet and quite drinkable, but not really outstanding in any way. Thin bodied, with pretty strong carbonation.

(Bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/new-hampshire/g target=blank>Glen Beverage) OK but kind of dull...Pours clear brown with a very big foamy light tan head. Smells lightly of caramel and milk chocolate. Mouthfeel a bit thin and dry, lightly fizzy. Nice lacing. Flavor is weakly chocolatey, something else in there as well that seems a bit off. Perhaps a hint of sour.

12 oz bottle. Brown with a really nice, lacy head. Thin body but nice bitterness. Malty, chocolate aroma & clean flavor. Very drinkable.

bottle, dark brown in color, medium carbonation. Aroma is malty and slightly hoppy. Taste is rich caramel malt with some light hoppy bitterness and dry malts, perhaps munich? decent session beer.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7670) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 This beer came to me in my beer club - I have never heard of the brewer before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with a large tan head. The aroma is somewhat faint but has elements of roasted malts, molasses and fruity hops. The flavor is quite bitter with floral hops and only a hint of roasty malts. What malts there are combine with a molasses element and finishes long on the tongue.
