COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s flagship beer. Our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale, it is brewed using English and Belgian specialty malts and four different domestic whole hops. It is dry hopped and bottle conditioned, creating a beer with a strong malt character and a floral yet spicy hop quality. Tuckerman Pale Ale will be available year round. Currently, it is our introductory beer and is our only brew available.

12oz bottle into a pint. This is one sessionable pale ale. It doesnt really have the hop presence I would expect from this remote NH town nor the headiness of a northeast microbrew. Rather bland and unfullfilling for a pale ale. color is a dark and musky brown orange. Taste is flat hops, countered by weak malts and average citrus. this is an average beer. not horrible, quite easy to drink, but still lacking the greatness to excel it over the edge. Head is nice and giant when poured, then shrinks down to islands over the murky brown sludge water. Ok pale ale here.

Poured a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a tad malty with some citrus and bread. Taste is sweet with some slight fruit and grapes. Slightly floral notes as well. Finish is on the sweet side with malts.

On tap at the Thirsty Moose. Amber brown body with almost no head. Aroma has notes of citrus, mostly orange and lemon peel. Flavor is floral with a slight malt character. Mouth feel is a bit light and watery. Refreshing.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2016 NEW RATING. Reasonably fresh (<1 month) bottle. This is underwhelming -- lots of malt, just a bit of hop bitterness, little to no aroma, and a good amount of DMS.

Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear, honey-gold with a frothy off-white head. The nose has some crackery malts, lightly tangy citrus, bread. Medium sweet flavor, lightly syrupy, with more crackers, orange, some white grape, alcohol. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with further tangy citrus, tangerine, a bit of raw alcohol, graham crackers, sugar. Maybe this beer isn’t totally fresh or something, because this is not great.

Bottle from Hannaford, Raymond NH. Aroma is bready malt with some herbal hops. Appearance is medium brown (between iced tea and root beer) with pillowy finger-width head and mild lacing. Taste is on the sweet side with some hop bitterness balance. Palate is medium bodied with average texture. Carbonation is average and the finish is mildly sweet. Overall, true to description--a pale ale with malt and hop balance, slightly tipped to the malty side. Enjoyable.

Lightly hoppy Pale ale with nice notes of floral hops. Very refreshing but with a small bite to add interest. A good drink for lakeside New Hampshire summer sunshine.
