500ml bottle conditioned: BBE Jan 2018. Poured into a Gwaun Valley Brewery badged pint sleeve glass to make it feel at home on 30th June 2017. Light amber pour, mini-haze to the body, off-white uneven blanket of foam for a head. Nose has a slight citrusy/grapefruity aroma, taste is citrus hops all the way. Grapefruit flavours dominate the brew from start to finish. Dry and hoppy, it’s OK.

Gravity Cask at Green Man festival, Kings Cross. Clear orange, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is straw, flowers. Body is medium to light, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is astringent apple peel, glue, white bread. Plain, basic stuff.

500ml bottle from Newport Food Festival drunk at home. Aroma is basically a crisp, frosty autumn morning. I know that sounds a bit queer, but it is. Has a haunting bitterness that follows you round your palette, soft hops and quaffable character. I’ve never used the word ’quaffable’ before, and not really sure I’ll use it again. Nice beer tho.
