real shame this beer isn’t more widely available. Had it on holiday in NZ. Very good aroma and appearance. The taste is great as well which i wasn’t expecting from a blond beer. Over all a great beer well worth seeking out. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - FEB 4, 2010
Thanks to skyview for sharing. Light caramel color. Nice sweet malt aroma with some banan esters. A mooth finish and a nice malt flavor. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 7, 2009
Received a 330 ml bottle by friends visiting from New Zealand. Brought this over the Pacific Pond immediately when it was released for the first time. Pours a clear golden pale yellow colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates to a white ring. Aroma is fruity, golden grain malt, floral hops and a hint of banana. Taste is medium bodied, a tad sweet with flavors of bread dough, banana and some floral hops. Finish is slightly malty at first then crisp with no bitterness and no aftertaste. Damn! One of the best medium bodied lawnmower beers I’ve encountered. Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 10, 2010
(bottle shared by Skyview) Pours clear light gold with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, maybe pear, with some vanilla and grassy hops as well. Tastes lightly fruity, some caramel, leading to a hint of hop before finishing very crisply. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is appropriate. I thought this beer would just be a run of the mill lager, but it actually was far better than that. This would make for a great lawnmower beer in the summer. [Bottle] shared by Skyview. Pours a clear light gold with a small white head. Aroma has some banana and light maltiness. Flavor is light, slightly grainy, crisp, and a bit of banana on the finish. This a very nice, drinkable beer. I could drink the shit out of this.

Bottle:   Golden in color, clear, large sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Musty straw and old apples on the nose.   Grassy on the tongue, some hay and straw, somewhat sweet.   Very clean and crisp.   Not too
much otherwise, but its clean and has a nice sweetness with the straw/hay aspect.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, soft grassiness and old apples linger.   Better than I expected.   Thanks Bob for
the bottle! SarkyNorthener (4765) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2013
Bottle. Dark golden beer with small head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is caramel malts, grain and sweetish. A little too watery on the palate. Not what I was expecting, I quite enjoyed this one. Good for a lager. AshtonMcCobb (6852) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 23, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours golden with steady bubbles and a nice head. The nose has butterscotch and pale malt. The taste is of toffee, just a hint of nuts and cream. The palate is light to medium in texture and structure and quite clean on the finish. Overall, not spectacular but happy to drink it. dogbomb (1244) - ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2013
Bottle. Dark gold ale with a crisp white top. Nose smells like confectionary - sherbert. And those flying saucer sweets. In the mouth, it’s quite light. A dusting of marzipan sugar and a little cereal maize. Pleasant and light. Idiosynkrasie (7839) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2012
330ml bottle. Pale clear golden colour with average white head. Slightly sweet grainy aroma, some fruit like pear or lychee. Taste is also slightly sweet, in large parts monotonous, with a short fizzy citrus interrupt.
