Draught: This one pours a clear, amber color. There was a very small white head that left a little lacing. It has a lighter aroma. Some spices, malts, but no real sweetness. Some biscuit and faint earthy hops. The taste is good. No sweetness, but malty, faint spices and some biscuit. A good Oktoberfest. tgncc (3140) - Bellmore, New York, USA - SEP 18, 2012
The aroma is caramel, malty. The flavor is the same. The appearance is the standard amber color. Medium in body. Standard O’fest. A little boring frankly. johnnnniee (4403) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 16, 2011
On Tap at the source.
Pours a light copper color with a slight white ring of a head that while small in size it did stick around until the end. Smells lightly of melanoid with a pilsner malt aroma and a little bit of a sharp earthy hops. Taste is caramel, melanoid, brown bread, fruity with a light earthy hop taste. Medium body and level of carbonation with a creamy smooth mouthfeel. This is probably not a lager judging from the fruity flavors and the sharp bite and general non-smoothness of this brew. OK brew, but I’d rather have someone a different Oktoberfest.
