Pours mid tan, white but thinning head. Good bitterness but the cascade hops don't shine through, remains rather overly malty.

Nice. Lovely rust colour, slightly cloudy. You can feel the American in it. Very drinkable. weaselkenievil (1609) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2012
I like to see an English brewer trying a US style beer. Slightly hazy gold, medium head. Armoa of vanilla cream, bit of fruit. Flavour has a hint of vanilla but some medicinal herby notes. Mildish bitter finish. Not sure about this, will have again if I ever see it. joe19612 (3138) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2010
Bottle Conditioned. Pours a golden orange colour with a huge white head. Real citrus aroma with more than a hint of grapefruit. The taste is very a sticky citrus, with plenty of malt with a long dry finish.

Bottled at RBESG 2008. An unclear golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and strong notes of fruit among them peaches. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruits again peaches being strongest, as well as medium notes of malt and dusty hops, leading to a bitter finish. Clear medium amber copper color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, flowers, citrus, moderate grapefruit - soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120808)
Bottle. Very bitter and is it really an America pale ale? More like a bland British bitter. The bitterness put me off. thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle. Hazy amber with a medium off-white head. Citric fruit aroma. Citric flavours, quite dry with good underlying bitterness. Apples flavours. Well-carbonated. Despite suspicion of some infection problems, it is still quite drinkable with its solid bitterness.
