Bottle @ the RBESG08 Grand Tasting.leaparsons (10859) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2007
Pours muddy pale golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has good fruity hops, grapefruit and grass. Nice mouthfeel, very dry. Flavour is very hoppy with some crisp maltiness. A good dose of grass, grapefruit, apples and flowers. Nice.
Cask, Melton Fest 07. Golden with no head. Aromas are clean and hoppy with spiced oranges. Some caramel and citrus. Flavours are caramel and toffee malts with marmalade fruitiness. Fairly hoppy on the finish. KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2008
Hazy amber with medium white head. Sweet and hoppy with grapefruit and caramel notes. Ends bitter. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2007
Bottled. A copper coloured beer with a white head. The aroma has good piney hops as does the flavour. Well balanced with malt and a smooth texture, but there are signs of infection. Just typical that a promising English BCA is tainted in this way. Send me another bottle Mr Tunnel. DruncanVeasey (8401) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2007 Bottled. Big, quenching and fruitily hopped. Pithy grapefruit and Jelly Tot tang. Apricot murk slicked with white scum. That yeasty apple peel note that seems to characterise all of their beers, but here it’s entirely appropriate. Zestily dry with softening creamy malt. Almost a hint of Orval. The best Tunnel I’ve sampled to date.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Coventry Beer Festival.ekstedt (7007) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2008
Very clean for a bottle conditioned beer. Golden brown with a good white head and plenty of condition. Lovely grassy hop aroma backed up by some bready malt. A little on the delicate side but good all the same. Flavour is excellent. Nice and dry and very drinkable. Good hops, good malt and a nice dusty finish. Jolly good.
Sampled at the RBESG08 grand tasting. Hazy copper, medium off-white head. Nice floral hop aroma, long bitter finish. Very refreshing. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2008
Bottle. Very bitter and is it really an America pale ale? More like a bland British bitter. The bitterness put me off. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2008
Bottle at the RBESG08 Grand tasting. Alround rating: Bitter, peachy, pale biscuity malts, well made and balanced. thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle. Hazy amber with a medium off-white head. Citric fruit aroma. Citric flavours, quite dry with good underlying bitterness. Apples flavours. Well-carbonated. Despite suspicion of some infection problems, it is still quite drinkable with its solid bitterness.
