Not hoppy enough for a beer that has ’Hop’ in its name. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAY 5, 2000
Extravagantly hopped and bitterly beautiful. If my memory serves me correctly, they use a healthy dose of drying hops in their fermenting process. This beer is for hopheads like myself. Drink one of these after a light lager and you’ll really understand what I mean. In addition, this stuff is relatively inexpensive and rather easy to find. zbrew19 (31) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2000
very well-hopped beer, clean and crisp turtlehead (111) - Nottingham, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 1, 2000
Hops!!! If you like hops, this is one to try. The hops jump out at you and the malts follow up with a light, mellow flavor. This is one of my favorite beers that is easy to find.
