UPDATED: SEP 16, 2008 An amber beer with no head. The aroma is very light with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with quite a lot of caramel, but also a good hop presence. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Amber golden with tiny, floating impurities and a huge, rough, shaving foam style, lacing head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma with some fat citrus hops. Medium body with sweet caramel flavour and a distinct, hoppy finish. 171107 omhper (24973) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 21, 2002
Orange coloured medium bodied perfumy ale with citrus aroma. A hop monster!

Cloudy amber color; big frothy head. Hoppy aroma, a bit grassy and earthy, nice. Medium body structure, some good grainy malt flavor, with a good hopping, bringing some nice hop oils. Very good.
Draught at the Old Dominion pub in Dulles Intl Airport, Washington DC, 2007-10-07, 6-4-7-5-15=37
Hazy amber color. Some malt and hop aroma. Good body strength, very good caramel and toffee flavor, with a quality and powerful hopping; the hop is resiny and partially fruity, it leads to a very strong and long final. Very good Pale Ale.
A golden, somewhat hazy beer. Aroma is really fresk from citrus. Flavor is citrus as well, combined with some elder. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 19, 2000
Hoppy enough, but I need more. Old Dominion has another contract brew, New River Pale Ale, which I feel delivers on the promises made by Tupper’s great press. jtclockwork (16443) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 12, 2010
Very nice golden amber pour in the glass. Nose and taste is rich hops, honey, herbs and bitter. Rated 12/20/2000 Tmoney99 (14368) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 28, 2006
Bottle. Poured dark amber with a large frothy off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Heavy hoppy flowers and citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Same heavy hoppy bitter flavor with a long finish. Very good brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 7, 2002
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2003 (retasted 5/30/03): Tried it again last weekend, and my opinion remains the same -- this is a damned impressive beer. Floral and citrus hops are well balanced by the moderate sweetness. Medium body. This beer is incredibly drinkable.
