3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Actually, this is a pretty good IPA. I really prefer more of a citrus hoppiness but all things considered, it’s very drinkable. I always make sure I have a growler on hand to get filled when I pass by the Newburgh, IN location.
Interesting that the description says malty as I am not a fan of malty IPA's. Does not have that strong of a malt aroma or taste. Very smooth. Will definitely get again.

Orange pour with creamy off white head and lace. Caramel malt and citrus hops on the nose. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with a good resiny bitter finish with a bit of floral as well. A touch of cough medicine on the back end. Medium bodied but a touch foamy. ok shrubber85 (11582) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 31, 2014

tap at the brewpub - Grapefruit hop character dominates the aroma of this IPA. The flavor is of sweet malt with a hint of caramel up front and some good citrus accented bitterness. It’s medium bodied and pretty tasty.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2013 Got some dinner at Turoni’s staying at a nearby hotel on our roadtrip. IPA was served in a pint glass, copper-amber color with off-white head. Aroma of floral/earthy hops and caramel malt. Taste leans more light citrus hops balancing well with the caramel malt. Medium body, average carbonation, light hoppiness with slight bitter aftertaste. I wish it has been a little more hoppy but very drinkable and enjoyable. kseecs16 (1216) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Draught. Pours dark amber with a good sized soapy off-white head that leaves a sheath of lacing down the glass. Sweet floral aroma with a crystal malt extract xharacter. Flavor is quite sweet and malty with less bitterness than would be expected.

Draught at brewpub/pizza place. Slight malt build. Some ok hops and aroma. Drinkable if not very impressive. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2010
Tap and served too cold: Coppery hue with a fading frothy head. The aroma has notes of citric and grassy hops, caramel and toasty malts, some grainy pale malts, and mineral water. The taste is a bit twangy and mild sweet malts with lead to a nutty and house yeast characteristic. There is a medicinal note that is a bit off putting. The mouth feel is soft yet biting. A okay beer with pizza but not as hoppy as I would have liked, the hops did appear a bit more as it warmed.
