Pours barely any head and has weak lacing as a result. Has a hazy golden appearance. Wet mouthfeel. Light malty aromas and very faint cherry notes. Flavours of malts, some cherries are noticeable in the finish. Near the end cherry is much more apparent. Pretty mild and slightly drying mouthfeel. Fairly faint carbonation. Pretty good. Draft. Nice golden pour with a thin white head (by the time it had arrived) some lacing present. Certainly can pick out the cherry in the aroma, with some sweetness, malt that reminds me of a throat lasange. Taste is the same although there is a fairly bitter finish. Different and interesting but not great. shaynsawchuk (713) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2014
355 mL bottle. Pours hazy off peach with a thin white head. Cherry, amaretto, simple malt, earthy hop and cough drop. Mildly sweet with a medicinal bitter cherry finish. Mild body and average carbonation. Too harsh for me, but it might just be perception. KansaiBeerLvrs (5501) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 16, 2014
On tap at the Ottawa beer fest. 2 tickets. A montmorency cherry pale ale. A lovely light copper pour with a pungent aroma with mild cherries. The taste is an earthy ascetic bitterness with a really subtle cherry stone fruit flavor in the finish. Interesting. Once it warms up the cherry becomes more pronounced, nice.

On tap at the Loose Moose. Pours a murky reddish orange colour with soapy white head. Aroma is tart, vaguely cherryish fruit and some dankness. Flavour is somewhat harsh graininess, a little tart fruit and some dank bitterness. Plus body. Ok I guess.

Tap: Poured a golden color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of fake cherry syrup with grainy malt notes. Taste is also dominated by weird cherry syrup with grainy malt notes which really doesn’t enhance the taste of the beer. Body is average with good carbonation. This was a below average offering for the style. pushkinwow (2961) - Ottawa, CANADA - AUG 18, 2013
On tap at National Capital Beer Festival. Hazy yellow with bubbly off white head. Some wheat, subtle cherries, more malts. Mild carbonation and body, somewhat bitter, very dry with some earthy cherries on the finish. asheft (3125) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2013
Creamy and tangy cherry aroma with some faint base malt in the background. Hazy dark gold under a lasting, white patch and ring. Cherries are very subtle in the flavour. Dry cherry bitterness is a touch overboard. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, almost clean finish. Refreshing but for the bitterness. SuperTiti33 (900) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 19, 2013
En fût au Brothers Beer Bistro. Ambré. Rosé. Fruité. Surette. "Mr freeze". Sucré. "Cherry Blaster". Jujube. Bactérie lactique. Cerise au marasquin. En conclusion, fait sirop mais avec un trait de levure sauvage.
