3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 12, 2011
cloudy light brown / orange. nose is snappy orange oil and citrus acid and juice. focused hops are moderately resin-heavy sitting on top of hints of nutty malt. bit too full-bodied and big for what it’s presenting. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 10, 2011
This is the TMBC IPA. Had at the ABQ beer fest Oct’11. Muddled color, burnt orange. Juicy fruity aromas of papaya, but also smells chewy. Has a silky palate, and a toasty finish. A nice balance overall but seems dull next to the Citra IPA, which seemed fresher as well as more characterful. nearbeer (5604) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 18, 2010
Draft at the brewpub. Orange-amber with a nice lasting disc of foam. Citrus, caramel and resin nose. Flavor is a great blend of the same. Light-medium body is sessionably watery and tingly with hops and carbonation. jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Poured deep orange with a white wispy thin head. Big pine hop aroma. Grapefruit and floral flavor, dry finish, a touch astringent but all in all a really fine full bodied IPA hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 4, 2009
from a 36 hour old dead flat growler... still it pours hazy a burnt sienna color.
the nose is really spicy and stinky with hops, caramel, dirt, peaches and flowers.
the palate is dry and has a nice bitterness on the finish. the flavor matches the aroma and adds some orange and grapefruit.
the mouth feel is slick though it is dead flat. quite full bodied.... 6/4/6/4/15/3.5

Nice aroma coming from a descent head. Color is a good copper-golden hue and the bite is noticeable. Nice finish, definitely one of the better IPAs in Albuquerque. chef201atc (261) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2007
Deep caramel colored pour, small off-white head. Nice citrus hop nose, maybe a bit subdued. A touch to thick for the style IMO, carbonation is right on. Nice flavor, good grapefruit hoppiness, nice bitter finish. Maybe just a touch sweet in the end. Braudog (6836) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 28, 2006
Solid amber with the merest of bubbly head. Nice piney hop aroma. Starts out OK but the roll off the palate results in a weird dirt-tinged earthiness. Haven’t been to TMBC in a while, but I was disappointed. #2469 Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 24, 2004
tap at brewpub-great citrus aroma with some toasty malts to compliment these wonderful hops. great balance! hops and malts mesh very well together. creamy mouthfeal. full bodied but soft. Fantastic IPA! wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 16, 2004
Draft. Cookie, caramel, toasted light bread malt (ML); grapefruit, piney hops (M); maybe a little bit of apricot. Thin, creamy, off-white head is slowly diminishing and sits on a deep orange-amber body. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a heavly bitter, lightly acidic finish. Medium-heavy body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. The bottom line is: nicely aggressive without being overly acidic...creamy to boot!
