1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
It has an odd aroma to it almost like a sour musky smell. It is very pale yellow with virtually no head. It does have quite a bit of carbonation. The taste is nothing to write home about as the carbonation is too strong.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from 'Getränketempel', bottled in April 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, a little grassy taste of grains, cardboard and some straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy, cardboardy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Far from good. jjpivo () - - NOV 16, 2017
This is a very suspect beer. You just have to check some of the ingredients - sugar and cornstarch. I presume this is done for cost reasons. hrabren (1647) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 7, 2017
This leads to a very bizarre tasting beer. It is very unpleasant - the few times I have drank it (very limited beer options in Kenya) - it has been flat, with a very unpleasant aftertaste. Try to avoid pouring also as there is a very artificial luminous colour.
The very questionable ingredients leads and unpleasant taste leads to a beer which you should avoid. In addition, restaurant/bars in Kenya will ask you if you want this lager served warm (!). Avoid and order the slightly better Tusker Malt.
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 0.33 l can brought by Višnja and Goran. Thanks! Shared with Marko and Jurčić. Hazy straw, small to medium off-white head. Fake caramel and cardboard. Corn flakes. Sweet. Light body, moderate to high carbonation. Bad. hgray14 (11) - Petaluma, California, USA - NOV 5, 2017
Very, very light beer. This one has almost no flavor at all, so does not match the category very well, but is highly drinkable. In warm summer weather, I could see drinking a lot of this beer, but can't rate it highly simply because it does not match the category very well.

500ml bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Light gold colour with white head. Crisp cereal malt, cereal grain, watery sunflower oil, light cardboard. Decent for the style. Piepenhenrich (1246) - Steinbach, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2017
From a bottle in an Ethiopean restaurant in Frankfurt. Of course, it is somehow cool to have an African beer in an African place. But then, it's an average Lager, nothing special about it. Drinkable, but with better options available, I would always prefer better brews with good food. No obvious reason to import it. AjHtoma (13) - - SEP 22, 2017
Bottle. Starts out smooth and clean but suddenly turns bitter and a bit sour as you swallow.

Bottle at Porterhouse, Cov Garden. Hazy floral aroma - more stem than flowers?! Gold. Bubbly white head. Light sweet. Not ovely industrial though. Thin. Light. Bubbly carb. Sour aftertaste. Average lager. At least not too industrail
