(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light resin, tangerine, and orange. Flavor of grain, citrus, pine, stone fruit, and Belgian yeast. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 20, 2011
On tap. Pours with a clear golden hued body and a white head that lasts. Aromas are hoppy, dank, citrus and alcohol. Flavors are boozy, alcoholic, sweet (sadly, quite sweet), caramel. Hoppy, citrus, dank, nice flavors there. Medium carbonation. A bit too syrupy for my tastes. Hard to make an extremely big IPA come across dry without boozy or sweet notes. This suffers from both these problems sadly. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 19, 2011
A: The beer pours a clear amber color with a finger of white head and a bit of lacing.
S: Smells a touch sweet with a good amount of caramel and sugar. Good hop notes of grapefruit and tangerine with a fair amount of tropical fruits, giving it a little extra sweetness. A light grass and perhaps a hint of pine.
T: The flavor is fairly well balanced between the sweetness and bitterness. Good pine flavor and bitterness as well as some oily citrus peel. A definite booze flavor, light chalk, and heavy bitterness as it warms up. Good citrus bite on the back end.
M: A little bit heavy on the tongue with a medium carbonation.
O: Rough around the edges and a bit too hot. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - AUG 14, 2011
I had this on tap at Tustin Brewing company’s 15th Anniversary party. Nice golden pour with a good balance between hops & malt. Not a hop bomb, but very enjoyable.
