Draft. Golden-amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and summer fruit aroma. Caramel and summer fruit flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Caramel and summer fruit lingers with grapefruit. Very nice hoppy pale. Could drink this a lot.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. Beer number four of the eight and I am beginning to think I made a mistake coming here. Light amber in colour with a white wisp for a head, this beer had a strange chemical taste, the first beer on the flight to actually have a taste, so at least we are finally getting somewhere.

Light malt aroma with northwest hop variety aroma as well. Hoppy bitter taste very crisp and refreshing, have with the spicy wings.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark gold with a white head. Citrus aroma. Med body. Flavor is very strong earthy/citrus hop. Malt is roasty, but somehow it also seems not roasty. Finishes bitter and hoppy.

30 June 2014, tap at Tustin Brewery. Orange, clear, no bubbles. Nose is lemon hops and some cereal malt. Med body and mildly fizzy. Lemon rind and mild cereal malt. Faint bitterness. Decent.

Tap at Tustin, A nice way to finish an evening of drinking, but this one is mild and bland a suitable beer for those venturing to the hop side, but not enough punch and too much malty finish for me.

On draft. Clear golden pour, with a white head and some lacing. Moderately hoppy aroma, with flavors of caramel malt, bread, light hops, and some citrus. Not a very interesting pale ale, rather bland.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Fruity and lightly piney hops, with light malty sweetness. Bright and clean and drinkable, with great hops flavor and not a ton of unnecessary bitterness. All those nerds below me clearly don’t know how to drink beers, with one was pretty damn good.

(Draught) Pours a clear orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, earth, and caramel. Flavor of grass, orange, grapefruit, earth, and minerals.

Sparkling gold color, white head. I smelled some hops in this along with biscuity malts. But the flavor left me wondering where the hops were. Malty with spent hops on the finish. Meh.

On tap at the brewery during RBSG 2012. Pours clear pale gold. Metallic hops, light fruitiness, mostly a plain malty brewpub beer. Other reviews called this very hoppy but I just don’t see it.
