OC tour, tap at brewpub: Reddish hue with a small lasting head. The aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, biscuit, apple and plum ester, and a touch woody. The taste has a fruity and malty note with some background acidity, The feel is very carbonated and lively, chalky finish. Okay, not offensive. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - SEP 9, 2007

Dark reddish brown appearance, mild malt aroma. Sweet caramel and biscuit malt flavor, mild grainy dryness, hop content is low, slight bitterness in the finish. Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - MAR 17, 2004
Cask. Poured a murky brown color that looked like unfiltered iced tea with a nice sized head. Aroma was a vanilla maltiness and mellow hops. Initial taste is a mild bitterness, however a bit watery with a touch of maltiness. Finish had a lingering bitterness. Somehow, still creamy and smooth. mooseknuckles (2) - Tustin, California, USA - JUN 13, 2003 does not count
not bad for a super microbrew. Taste is a lil watery but overall a beer worth tasting. If you are ever in tustin and want a taste of a start up brew its here! herbjones (742) - Orange, California, USA - FEB 14, 2003
Dark copper pour with a funky corn taste to it. Very hoppy finish but it's sitting on a thin watery body.
