Draft. Pours amber with a thin head. Light citric fruity notes, maybe a hint of pine, and light toffee-ish malty notes. A straight forward "Imperial Red." Plenty of hops, plenty of malts, and a good balance between the two. Pretty good. J_man (1022) - Tustin, California, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Slightly hazy reddish orange in color with a lasting off white head. Great fresh piney hop aromas with candy sugar in the background. The first sip gives sharp, biting pine and grapefruit hops immediately followed by caramel and light molasses sweetness, and then dry huskiness. The hops get more earthy later on and the bitterness builds as you drink. Ends on a dry and bittersweet note. Really interesting and delicious beer. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 16, 2013
On tap @ Tustin Brewing. Dark amber pour with a thin off-white head. Strong aroma of grapefruit juice and pine. Sweet caramel and sugar, floral hops, and some molasses. The flavor is fairly citric. Moderate bitterness of citrus peel and pine, lots of grapefruit juice, some grass, and orange. Some caramel sweetness, molasses, and floral hops, too.
