Pours black with brown foam. Can't remember my impression of the aroma. Taste of roasted malt, coffee, cream/lactose and chocolate. Grassy aftertaste, medium bitterness, full body, some sweetness. Thought it quite well balanced.

(Backlog-rating) @ Basunen 17-9-2: Helt ok med fina toner av kola, choklad och kaffe - en ganska söt eftersmak

Flaska i Biskopsbacken. Doftar choklad o sedan kommer vaniljtoner. Smaken studsar runt i munen o det är lite knepigt o hitta smakerna. Choklad finns sedan kommer kaffetoner som spricker den lite på slutet

4 finger light beige head.
Close to pitch black beer.

Aroma is dark roast coffee, honey, chili spiceyness, slight cinnamon and a herbal earthiness.

Taste is dark roast coffee, earthy cinnamon, cocoa powder and a medium chili burn.

Mouthfeel is medium thin with a dry feel. Nice kick to it, especially when the chili comes in with the alcohol and the bitterness.

Overall: Didn’t expect the chili heat in this beer since it doesn’t say that anywhere. I thought this would be sweeter considering the honey but this turned out quite dark and roasty, which isn’t a bad thing. It isn’t bad at all actually, but as I have stated before, I can’t stand spices like cinnamon in my beers and preferably not any chili heat, I think that drags it down for me, along with a pretty thin mouthfeel.
