Sampled from the tap at there brewpub. Pours a clear brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains with a hint of coffee and not much else. Flavor has roasted malts and a hint of coffee backed by some dark bread.

On tap at the brewpub. Medium bodied forwardly sweet and caramely drink. Pretty nice actually and a little more candi sugar and caramel than I usually expect.

A dark brown color with a beige head. The aroma some caramel, nutmeg, and toffee. The flavor is rather malty with some bitter nutty notes. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Overall a good brown ale.
