Twain’s and Sweetwater Brewing Co. have teamed up to bring you another addition to the Georgia Craft Brewer’s Guild Beer series.  A deep red 8% ABV Double IPA that has been jammed full of hops.  Nugget, Amarillo and Zythos hops were used in the boil, then it was crammed full of Simcoe and Nugget as our dry hop addition.  Full flavors of hop are balanced by the malt backbone.  This is one of a kind, and partial proceeds from each sale will be donated directly to the GCBG, to further their mission to bring Georgia Craft Beer to the forefront.

Because of their tendency to wreck you palate, double IPAs are a great choice if you are only going to be one or two beers. This was the case when I tried this beer. Pours as Auburn as a third rate university with light head. The odor is citrusy and malty, but the taste is piney. Strong nose. Would order again, especially given the price to quality ration at Twain’s. Draft - Twain’s Billiards & Tap - Decatur, Georgia

Dark amber with a white head. Aroma contains some dark frruit, citrus, and pine. Flavor is BIG and arrogant bastard like with some caramel and dark fruit notes. A balance of bitter and sweet. Overall excellent.

On tap at Wrecking Bar. Pours a clear deep ruby amber with a near white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of earthy pine and grass with a hint of dankness and lots of sweet grains. Flavor has sweet grains up front with earthy pine and grass growing.
