The turnaround is the last few notes of the blues progression, the cadence at the end of the phrase which sets up the next verse. TBB’s Northwest Red Ale is copper going on ruby red, with a slightly sweeter feel than the rest of our beers. The malt gives the beer a pleasant medium caramel flavor. Six different hops are used in this beer, including Chinook which adds a Northwest outdoors pine aroma, a strong homage to the style.

On tap at 12 Bar Brews, pours a deep dark red with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and light hop resins. Flavour is very dry and bitter, with toasted malt and very bitter hops on the finish. Little flavour, just astringency. Not impressive.

Tap. Cloudy reddish with white head. Very easy drinking. A little thin. Some mild sweetness and very little bitterness.

Crisp malty start with a fairly smooth finish. Original pour was very very foamy. An average red/amber.

Very, very nice! When the label said "Northwest," I was thinking hoppy. Nope. Think super smooth, red ale-type amber, heavy on the malts, and super wonderful flavor profile. Recommended.

Pours ruby with a finger white head. Smell red fruit and caramel, sweet Taste caramel, toffee, light citrus hops, bit of barleywine quality as well. Med bodied. Good

Draft at uber. Pours a murky dark amber. Dense creamy tan head. Fresh pine and caramel nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty piney mid palate. Very appealing. Crisp and refreshing finish. Up up up and down, turn turn...
