On tap @ the brewpub, our fifth brewery on TvM’s Bachelor Party NW Ale Trail Expedition. Very hazy golden body, white crown. Intensely hoppy nose of white grapefruit and pine. On the palate the hop profile is fresh and expressive, heaps of white grapefruit with piney undertones. At 6.6% I’m not certain about the "sessionability" of this brew, but as an IPA it is fantastic! Draft - Light pine and caramel malt. Hazy yellow gold with a rich white head. Sweet tropical fruit and big long bitterness. Resin in the finish. Bitterness a little overwhelming. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice easy drinking IPA. Good hops flavor and finish. Drank at Washington Brewers festival. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 20, 2013
Draught in a flight. Pours an amber color with a moderate white head on it. Nose is pretty hop forward, with some floral elements really coming through on it. Taste is decently bitter, but drinkable. Not bad. billk (353) - Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Tap @ 12 String. Hazy honey color. Aroma is mild (it was cold). Taste is tree fruit (definite apple notes), rather sweet malt, and nice but mild hop flavor, strong, sharp, somewhat harsh hop bitterness.
Not enough hop flavor, the bitterness seemed added on rather than an integral part of the brew. OK but not a go to beer.
