Draught in a flight at the brewpub, without the "blackberry" in the name. Pours a near-black color. Nose is fairly roasty with a little bit of wine elements to it. Taste has some moderate wine elements as well as some roasting, but it slightly sweet. It makes for an easy light drink. Very good brew. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - APR 7, 2014
On tap, pours dark purple brown, no head or lacing, kinda flat. nice nose, oak, wine, roasted oats. Nice mix of stout and red wine taste, very dry clean finish. decent beer. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Nose of dark patent malts, a little jammy sweetness, blackberry, and wood. Pours black, nice legs, viscuous looking, tan head. Flavors of roasted malts, patent malts, wood, jammy wine, blackberry. Sweet and dry, solid roasty finish. Pleasant.
