Cask Pint at Edward Rayne (JDW), Raynes Park, London in Mar 2014 - Black in colour. Tan head. Good lacing. Malty; roasty malts, some dark chocolate, caramel, hint of coffee. Fruity; mild grapefruit citrus. Hoppy; earthy and spicy hops. Nice malt/fruit/hop balance. Sweet malts meet bitter fruity hops. Result = mildly bitter roast malty citrus fruity throughout. Good stuff. (I note that Twickenham website and the pump clip think it is a Black IPA, not a Porter). Nice easy drinking Black IPA! (2014-03-17) 77ships (11300) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2012

Cask Dark reddish-brown ale, crowned with a B.C."H." Chocolate, bit of coffee, dark malts galore. Sharpish roasted beer with chocolate, meatroast and discreet hops. Coffee retronasal. Maybe medium bodied, quite slick. Interesting, even as a porter - which could mean anything these days - it presents an original twist, and it is quite satisfying.
